Humble Challenge Scripture:
2 Chronicles 7:14 ASV
If my people, who are called my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
1 Peter 5:6
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall exalt you.
Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
When they cast thee down, thou shalt say, There is lifting up; And the humble person he will save
And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be humbled; and whosoever shall humble himself shall be exalted.
But he giveth more grace. Wherefore the scripture saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble.
And thou shalt remember all way which Jehovah thy God hath led thee these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble thee, to prove thee, to know know what was in thy heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or not.
Say thou unto the king and to the queen-mother, Humble yourselves, sit down; for your headtires are come down, even the crown of your glory.
Do this now, my son, and deliver thyself, Seeing thou art come into the hand of thy neighbor: Go, humble thyself, and importune thy neighbor;
Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God, to seek of him a straight way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance.
